Radical Sound has been on air every week since 1998. We started on sunday nights with two hours of reggae followed up by an hour of jungle / drum ‘n bass / hip hop hosted by Sir Blunt. After a year Sir Blunt had to quit and Radical Sound has been going on as a reggae and dancehall show till today. In 2001 the show moved from sunday to thursday night.

We play all kinds of tunes, the latest reggae and dancehall 7" singles (cd's nowadays) as well as vintage tracks and hip hop remixes (check it out at the playlist section). We have ticket giveaways for concerts and parties in the Melkweg (Milky Way) - Amsterdam on a regular basis.

Since we're completely self supporting and get no payment from the station to produce the show we appreciate the help of record companies, producers, distributors and others sending promo material and MP3's for airplay consideration.
